1. Management

• Provide Maximo systems technical guidance to Project Manager in the development of technical components, guidance in the selection of different technical options. Provide technical evaluation of solutions proposed by other EAM technical team members.

2. Development

• Provide technical leadership and solution architecture services for the EAM Maximo projects. Serve as in-house point of contact to Project Manager for assigned development technical work and integrate with other members. Oversee technical tasks performed to ensure that requirements are met, that performance and functional quality is maintained, and that schedules are met.
• Provide technical documentation to EAM Project team for analysis. Participate in the analysis process from the conception of a high-level enhancement or function to a detailed requirements document and ensure that requirements achieve the high-level objective of the business owner. Provide support to the testing team to ensure that each detail of the requirements documentation is testable.

3. Software Services

• Provide software development services as needed for Maximo technical tasks. Serve in a Developer’s role on the development team to review the more complex components of each project.
• Provide software unit testing for all development work. Ensure that all code developed is thoroughly unit tested before being handed over for integration testing.
• Provide software maintenance services. Support the in-house team in the correction of any defects found by the testing process in work developed. Provide backup production support for all work developed and assistance to support the entire solution. Provide development of technical operational documentation.
• As part of meeting the requirements as set forth above, the following Deliverables are expected:
  • Project issues lists
  • Project status reports
  • Project communications
  • Design/As-Built documents
  • For each development task, unit tested code, with defects corrected

SPECIFIC

• The Maximo Developer will have a bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience in a technical position using Maximo 6.x and above related systems.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Information Technologies industry experience, especially in areas of application support or other service delivery.

GENERAL

• Must have general experience in Actuate Report Writer, Actuate Application Administration, Oracle, SQL Plus and PL/SQL Language.
• Ability to create and update advanced technical documentation.
• Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a project team environment.
• Must have strong project team experience with multiple successful Maximo project implementations.
• of Information Technologies industry experience, especially in areas of application support or other service delivery.

  – Interface writing

• The EAM Maximo Senior Project Management Specialist will have at least ten (10) years experience in Maximo and related systems, serving in a project management role for the development, maintenance and testing of customized Maximo applications to achieve the requirements.
• Will be able to use and teach Microsoft Project at the Expert level.

GENERAL

• Will have hands-on experience in the development and documentation of functional and technical specifications.
