The process to implement big systems, whether you’re a maintenance specialist, a software developer or a reliability engineer, is well-understood: figure out the requirements, design a solution, build it and test it. Rinse and repeat.
Our implementation methodology is practical and based on the well-known 80/20 rule. We’ve found that 20% of Maximo’s features can give our clients 80% of what they need. (In fact, we created the Banetti SmartStart® service based on that principle.)
Banetti employs world-renowned experts in Maximo and EAM, in key industries and in
software systems implementation.
All of this is necessary, but not sufficient.
At each stage of the process, we provide you options–and tradeoffs–to meet your business requirements. In the end, your business is unique and our job is to ensure that you are not forced into a “one-size-fits-all” system.
Whether you’re deploying EAM for the first time, upgrading to a new version of Maximo, changing vendors or trying to sweat your assets, wringing every dollar of performance out of your current EAM system, Banetti can help.

Delivering the right solution begins with a detailed understanding of the challenges for asset management in your own business. First, we'll ask you to form a core team to make decisions as we work through all the issues. Many times, the core team is comprised of yourself, your executive sponsor (e.g. the VP of Operations or Plant Manager), key team members (e.g. maintenance planner), and IT (e.g. CIO or Director of Enterprise Software). A Banetti engagement manager walks your core team through the process of identifying what you do, when you do it, why you do it, and what is not getting done effectively today. This walk through to assess where you are is conducted as a series of workshops and provides the basis for business requirements as well systems and workflow specifications. The deliverable from this phase is a document defining the best-fit asset management solution for your enterprise.
